Overview
ClinicKhata is an all-in-one clinic and practice-management ERP for healthcare providers. It runs the full patient lifecycle, appointment booking, front-desk queue, consultation, e-prescription, billing and follow-ups, alongside a patient-facing wallet and a waiting-room TV display. It is designed so a clinic can replace paper registers and disconnected tools with one system.
The challenge
Most clinics run on a patchwork of paper registers, spreadsheets and standalone apps that do not talk to each other. Front-desk queues are managed by hand, prescriptions and billing live in separate places, and there is little visibility into how the practice is actually performing. The goal was to consolidate that entire workflow into a single, coherent platform that front-desk staff, clinicians and patients could all use.
What we built
ClinicKhata is built on Next.js with the App Router, React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, with Recharts powering the analytics dashboard. The platform is organized into dedicated modules, dashboard, appointments, a live patient queue, patients, prescriptions, billing with per-visit invoicing, a patient wallet, follow-ups, messages, reviews, analytics, a waiting-room TV display, onboarding and settings. The queue and TV display work together to manage in-clinic patient flow, while structured per-visit billing keeps invoicing consistent and automated follow-ups and reviews support retention.
Results
The platform consolidates fragmented clinic workflows into a single system, speeding patient throughput with the live queue and TV display and reducing billing errors through structured per-visit invoicing. Automated follow-ups and reviews support patient retention, and the analytics dashboard gives the practice clear visibility into its operations.
